Story:

Ayaan and his friend Seenu, a director who is struggling in his career, decide to make a movie but face many problems. Just when they are about to give up, Seenu gets a call from a businessman named Vishnu from Ooty. Vishnu owns a spooky palace named Sangeeth Mahal and wants to produce a film there.

Anjali, who runs a coffee shop, is chosen to be the heroine. As they start filming, they experience strange and scary moments. What secrets does the palace hold? Who is Vishnu? Why did he pick a struggling director? How is Anjali connected to the story? Watch the movie to uncover the answers!

Plus Points:

Comedian Satya once again makes the audience laugh a lot with his perfect timing and funny acting, creating lots of laughter with his innocent performance and expressive reactions.

Sunil, even though he’s not on screen much, does a great job in the second part of the movie, adding to the fun with his funny behavior.

Anjali does a decent job in her role, supported by a strong group of actors, including Srinivasa Reddy, Satyam Rajesh, and Shakalaka Shankar. Ravi Shankar and Priya also do well as ghosts, adding to the entertainment.

The funny scenes in the ghost palace are really good and make people laugh a lot, especially towards the end of the movie.

Minus Points:

The main weakness of the film is its predictable plot and lack of originality, which make the story too ordinary. A more creative script could have brought much-needed excitement to this horror comedy.

Although the comedy scenes are enjoyable, the character development of the villain played by Rahul Madhav is not well-done, leaving potential unrealized.

Supporting actors like Ali and Srikanth Iyengar are not used to their full potential, with their roles lacking depth. Also, Anjali’s character doesn’t get enough screen time, which is surprising and disappointing.

The storyline involving the ghosts could have been wrapped up more effectively, as the climax feels forced and lacks conviction. Despite providing entertainment, many scenes seem too familiar and fail to have a lasting impact.

Technical Aspects:

Director Shiva Turlapati’s hard work is praiseworthy, but the senior writer Kona Venkat’s lack of attention to the story and screenplay lessens the overall effect. Putting more effort into these areas could have improved the quality of the film.

Pravin Lakkaraju’s music adds excitement at times, while Sujatha Siddhartha’s cinematography could have been more captivating to hold the audience’s interest. Chota K Prasad’s editing is good enough, and the production values meet the expected standard.

Verdict:

Overall, ” Geethanjali Malli Vachindhi ” provides laughs but lacks in delivering scares. Satya’s comedy skills stand out, along with Sunil’s impressive performance.

Anjali does well too, but the movie’s predictable plot, shallow characters, and disappointing climax are its weaknesses. It’s better to consider other entertainment choices.
